At Art55, we support children and young people who, for various reasons, are experiencing difficulties accessing full-time education. This includes learners with additional needs, with or without an EHCP, as well as those who may be struggling with their emotional and mental health. Our provision is open to learners aged 8 - 18 years old (year 4 to year 13).

 

Sessions start at £60 an hour (minimum of one 2 hour session per week) and are usually booked in termly blocks. We currently follow Wiltshire Council school term dates for 2025/26.

 

Referrals can be made by schools or local authorities, with the support and agreement of parents and carers. Following an initial referral, learners are invited to visit Art55 to familiarise themselves with the space, meet Becca, and ensure they are happy to attend the provision. 

 

Art55 is  a registered Arts Award centre and we are pleased to offer Bronze and Silver Arts Award qualifications. We also work with learners who are on a school roll to support delivery of the GCSE Art and Design syllabus.

Arts Award’s unique qualifications support children and young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. The programme develops skills for success in 21st century life including creativity, leadership, reflective thinking and communication skills. Arts Award embraces all interests and backgrounds, helping young people to develop knowledge and understanding of their chosen art forms. Through Arts Award, young people learn to work independently, helping them to prepare for further education and employment. We currently offer Bronze and Silver Arts Awards.
